Back in September Jagex declared that Old School RuneScape will be releasing on Android October 30th, and lo and behold, is now officially on the Play Store as a free-to-play release. That is correct, the members beta is finally over, which means OSR Mobile no more requires a subscription to jump and enjoy its traditional MMORPG game-play. HOMEPAGE
The information has been eagerly awaited by fans of this classic MMORPG, using a Million pre-orders and yet another million playing on Android already through a members’ beta. Feedback with that beta has led to refinements to the cellular interface, such as”a customisable, one-touch action button, and instinctive signature controls”, according to producer John Colgrave.
OSRS relies on Runescape, one of the pioneers of the MMORPG, as it was back in 2007. It offers content for solo gamers throughout to 100-player raid parties, and is created by Jagex alongside the community to guarantee new attributes satisfy real need and do not spoil the old school feel.
Currently on the docket for consideration are a missing elvish town, a New Warding ability, and also a new territory — the Kebos Lowlands — that would Add new quests, creatures, and skills. All is subject to participant approval Through polling.
