Call of Duty: Modern Warfare release date

This year’s Call of Duty – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare release date was unveiled on Thursday, May 30. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare   will be released on October 25, 2019. The game will be coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox One and it will support console and PC cross-play.

The details on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare have been very stingy. The only thing we know Is that this game is heavily rumored to be a new entry in the Modern Warfare franchise.

The official Call of Duty twitter account has a tweet that hints that it was “going dark” and posted a teaser video:

Last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 featured no single-player campaigns, a deviation from the military shooter franchise, added a battle royale mode, Blackout to multiplayer.

This years Call of Duty will bring back the single-player campaigns and Activision said that:” an entirely new campaign, a huge and expansive multiplayer world and some fun co-op gameplay”.

David Stohl Infinity Ward studio co-head says:

“This is a military sim, authentic and gritty, not superhero caricature” for the new Modern Warfare. And while modern military shooters are inherently extremely violent, Infinity Ward is aiming for “intense and mature over gratuitous body count and gore.”

Jacob Minkoff, the campaign gameplay director on the new Modern Warfare when talking about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare says:

“This is the most authentic and realistic game we have ever made. All we want to do as storytellers is make players feel something.”
