Bubble Bobble 4 Friends release date and trailer

After nine years of waiting, a new game Bubble Bobble game series it finally has a release date. The new game will be Bubble Bobble 4 Friends and it will be released exclusively to Nintendo Switch on November 19 in Europe and North America will get its release some time in the first quarter of 2020.

The last Bubble Bobble game was Bubble Bobble Double and it was released back in 2010. And the very first Bubble Bobble was released in arcades in 1986. Bubble Bobble 4 Friends was developed by the original studio Taito Corporation. The latest console game developed by Taito was in 2010 and it was a mobile-console crossover – Space Invaders Infinity Gene. The game will bring something totally new to the table for bubble Bobble series – a four-player multiplayer. This game is a different take on cooperative play in puzzle platforming stages.

The story of Bubble Bobble looks like this:

“As in the previous highly popular series, the thrilling and epic bubble fight starts again!One night, a child’s room became enfolded by a miraculous light and every object under its rays suddenly came to life – including the child’s most favorite toy, the little dragon called Bub. Full of jealousy, the wicked magician Bonner challenges the friendly dragon to battle.”

Some may wonder why Taito chose to first launche game in Europe. Taito excutive Hiroshi Uemura explains that Bubble Bobble simply is more popular in Europe.

There is a new official website made for Bubble Bobble 4 Friends and an announcement trailer was released.
