With Gamescom 2019 kicking off this week a number of the biggest publishers in the industry are hosting their own livestreams and Google Stadia was no exception. This was the second Google Stadia Connect broadcast and during this livestream everyone got a chance to see several new game titles that will be coming to the company’s brand-new cloud gaming service.
Google started big by announcing that one of the most anticipated RPG of 2020 – Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Stadia. Though an actual date is not clear. Because the release for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 is set to be on April 16, 2020. But to Google Stadia it is listed as “coming soon”.
Another new trailer for Doom Eternal was revealed. The game is confirmed for Stadia. The new game trailer showed a frightful new character in the game – Doom hunter. The character is a new enemy and he is a centaur-like monster that is prepared to destroy Doom Slayer. The game is set to be released on November 22, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Micrasoft Windows, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
A game that will be available within Stadia “launch window” was revealed. A recently released fighting video game called Samurai Showdown. This game takes place between the events of the 1993 game and Samurai Showdown V and considered to be a reboot of the series. The game was released on June 25 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Another huge title in gaming industry – Mortal Kombat 11 will be joining the list of game titles on Google Stadia this fall. The game will be coming to Google Stadia this November and that is when this cloud platform will be released in most countries via the Stadia Founder’s Edition.
